I had the honor of speaking at the Francophone Schema Therapy Conference organized by IFTS on October 10-11, 2025 in Paris, on the theme “Schema Therapy: A Clinical Compass for the Patient’s Core Needs”.

“Using Artificial Intelligence in Schema Therapy? Concrete Examples and Prospective Reflection”
Artificial intelligence is transforming many fields, but what about psychotherapy? This talk explored concrete and immediate AI applications in Schema Therapy:
- Creating personalized metaphors tailored to the patient’s universe
- Psychoeducational music to anchor therapeutic learnings
- Between-session patient support
- AI-assisted therapist supervision
Through practical demonstrations and already accessible tools, we examined how AI can enrich our therapeutic creativity while preserving the relational essence of schema therapy.
This exploration was accompanied by an ethical reflection on the potential, limitations, and future of this collaboration between technology and psychological care.

About IFTS
The Institut Francophone de Thérapie des Schémas (IFTS - Francophone Institute of Schema Therapy) is the reference association for the French-speaking community of schema therapy practitioners. It organizes an annual conference allowing professionals to train, exchange, and advance practices.
My Background
This talk is part of my atypical journey:
- Initial training in mathematics and computer science
- 15 years of tech entrepreneurship
- 7 years of clinical practice in Schema Therapy
- Creator and moderator of Facebook groups Thérapie des Schémas (2,300+ members) and IA et Psychothérapie (1,000+ members)
This dual background allows me to approach AI with both a technical and clinical perspective, always keeping psychological care at the center of reflection.
